Paintings by Nicole Watts

Nicole Watts enters the room and sits herself down at her usual table. She looks outside the large windows for a few seconds, then turn back to her mission: painting. With help from Mrs. Nisenbaum, Nicole requests various colors for her palette. She dips the brush in paint and with a circular motion she paints the first color, washes her brush and repeats this procedure until the art period ends.

Recently, Ms. Brittany Frost, a UMF student teacher reinforced Nicole’s painting by turning one of her painting into a puzzle piece. Nicole is an 8th grade FLS student and feels right at home in the art room. She often picks her colors intuitively and with great passion. Her love of color and the freedom of painting is a tribute to her creativity.
